On Friday, January 31 and Saturday, February 1, 2025, training on the fight against terrorist financing and money laundering took place at the National Institute for Judicial Training (INFJ). This training was organized for 368 commissioners of justice and 41 trainees.

The two-day training was organized by the National Chamber of Judicial Commissioners of Côte d'Ivoire. Now, the commissioners of justice have up-to-date information to fully play their role in the mission assigned to the State of Côte d'Ivoire. Which one is to get out of the FATF gray list Groupe d' action financière ( style="font-family: "Bookman Old Style”, serif">) and maintain its operational vigilance mechanism. The President of the Chamber, Me Bloa Gérémi indicated that “it was for us to provide initial training allowing a good command of the environment of the fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism, so that each justice commissioner, as a taxable person, can fully play

his role”.

The Deputy Public Prosecutor at the Economic and Financial Criminal Division, Angan Yao Simplice, recalled the challenges of this meeting for Côte d'Ivoire, stressing that all actors involved in the fight against money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation ; the arms ratio “is not all imbued with existing mechanisms”.
