In an announcement made on Friday, February 7, the president of FEGATH, ”, serif">Mamady Daman Traoré accused the ministers of health, Mamadou Péthé Diallo and Oumar Diouhé Bah, of embezzlement and corruption. The two personalities and other officials were accused of having taken control of their share of the Ministry's budget, which amounts to 73 billion Guinean francs, and nearly 35 billion Guinean francs allocated to them by the National Transitional Council for the implementation of their projects. This budget, adopted in 2023 by the finance and health committees of the National Transitional Council (CNT), was to be used for the census of traditional practitioners, the control of traditional medicines and the training of practitioners in the country's 33 prefectures. However, the president of FEGATH claims that these funds were never received by the Federation. He accuses the Ministry of Health of having created an internal structure, headed by a certain Moussa Doumbouya, alias “Savan Noir”, which would benefit from several billion Guinean francs each year
.The President of FEGATH is now calling for the intervention of the Head of State, General Mamadi Doumbouya, and is requesting the transfer of the file to the Court for the Repression of Economic and Financial Offences (CRIEF).
