La Capitalization of the bond market of the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM) recorded an increase of 68,125 billion FCFA at the end of its trading session on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

La Capitalization of the BRVM bond market increased from 10 518.771 billion FCFA the day before to 10 586.896 billion FCFA on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. At the origin of this increase, there was the first listing of FCC Croissance Atlantique 6.20% 2024-2029 bonds for an amount of 91 billion FCFA. In reality, as part of the development of their activities, the subsidiaries of the Banque Atlantique group were looking for innovative financial mechanisms that would allow them to refinance part of their debt portfolios held on the State of Senegal

They had opted for debt securitization. The broadcast of the FCTC Atlantic Growth 6.20% 2024-2029 titles to the public took place on July 3, 2024. At the end of the operation, 9,100,000 FCTC Atlantic Growth 6.20% 2024-2029 bonds were subscribed at a price of 10,000 FCFA, i.e. a total of 91 billion FCFA

The capitalization of the equity market recorded an increase of 45.295 billion FCFA, from 10,678.909 billion FCFA the day before to 10,724.204 billion FCFA on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
As for the total value of transactions, it has jumped sharply, standing at 3.149 billion FCFA against 382.097 million FCFA on Monday

For the third day in a row, the indices are in green. The largest increase was achieved by the BRVM Prestige index with 0.89% to 121.94 points against 120.86 points the day before. For its part, the BRVM 30 index recorded an increase of 0.45% to 144.04 points against 143.39 points previously. As for the BRVM composite index, it gained 0.42% to 285.93 points against 284.72 points
