The total value of transactions increased from 3.149 billion FCFA on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 to 1,500 billion FCFA the next day. During the previous trading sessions, the transactions carried out by investors were under one billion CFA billion. Investors are positioning themselves by anticipating the next dividend payouts, with companies beginning to publish their 2024 annual results
.The capitalization of the equity market increased by 68,141 billion FCFA, standing at 10,792.345 billion FCFA against 10,724,204 billion FCFA on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. That of the bond market fell by 1.859 billion, to 10 585.037 billion FCFA against 10 586.896 billion FCFA the day before.
Indices continue to improve. They recorded their fourth consecutive day of increase. The largest increase was achieved by the BRVM Prestige index with 0.88% to 123.01 points against 121.94 points the day before. For its part, the BRVM 30 index recorded an increase of 0.68% to 145.02 points against 144.04 points previously. As for the BRVM composite index, it gained 0.63% to 287.74 points against 285.93 points
The Top 5 of the largest price increases are occupied respectively by Total Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.01% at 3,280 FCFA), Sucrivoire Côte d'Ivoire (plus 4.62% to 905 FCFA), SIB Côte d'Ivoire (plus 4.62% to 905 FCFA), SIB Côte d'Ivoire (plus 3.95% to 5,915 FCFA), Palm Côte d'Ivoire (plus 3.95% to 5,915 FCFA) FCFA) and SAPH Côte d'Ivoire (plus 2.33% at 4,400 FCFA).
As for the Flop 5 of the largest price drops, it is occupied respectively by the titles, ETI Togo (minus 6.25% to 15 FCFA), SMB Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.78% to 7,000 FCFA), SMB Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.78% to 7,000 FCFA), BOA Niger (minus 2.02% to 2,425 FCFA), BOA Senegal (minus 1.64% to 2 705 FCFA) and Sicable Ivory Coast (minus 1.37% at 1080 FCFA).
