Togo raised 16.5 billion FCFA on the regional financial market of the West African Monetary Union (UMOA), following an issuance of Assimilable Treasury Bills (BAT) closed this Friday, February 21, 2025. The country mobilized these resources when it was looking for 15 billion

For the purposes of the operation, the issuer had put an amount of 15 billion CFA francs up for auction. At the end of the operation, he was left with global submissions of 39.313 billion CFA francs. This gives a coverage rate of 262.09% for the amount put up for auction.

The amount of tenders accepted was 16.5 billion FCFA and that rejected was 22.813 billion FCFA. This corresponds to an absorption rate of 41.97%

Investors whose submissions were successful will end up with a weighted average return of 6.75%.

Vouchers are refundable on the first business day following the due date of May 25, 2025. For their part, interest is payable in advance and deducted from their nominal value
