Le Bénin a encaissé plus de 100 milliards FCFA à travers l' Offre Publique de Vente des actions de la International Bank for Industry and Commerce (BIIC), launched by the State of Benin. This offer was successfully completed on February 28, 2025.

Le succès de l' Offre Publique de Vente des actions testifies to the confidence of local, regional and international investors, thus strengthening the country's economic reforms and its commitment to boost the regional financial market. The State of Benin through this offer offered everyone the opportunity to become a shareholder in BIIC and to benefit from the positive effects of this bank, a major player in the banking sector in Benin. More than thirty-three percent (33%) have been subscribed to Management and Intermediation Companies in the area.
