The consolidated turnover of the Société des Boissons du Maroc (SBM) grew by 10.9% in the 4th quarter of 2024 compared to the 4th quarter of 2023.

This turnover increased from 745 million dirhams (MDH) to 826 million MAD in the 4th quarter of 2023. According to the company's management, this is solid growth that took place in a demanding economic context. She adds that “in an economic environment marked by persistent inflation throughout 2024 and increased fiscal pressure due to the increase in the Domestic Consumer Tax (TIC) on beer to 35%, SBM has shown resilience and adaptability, thanks to the dynamism of its local brands and the expansion of its distribution network

Investments made during the quarter amounted to MAD 34 million, down 38.2% compared to 2023. According to the management of SBM, these investments mainly concerned the renewal of the packaging park, the modernization of industrial equipment and the commissioning of the Tit Mellil wastewater treatment plant. At the end of December 2024, reports this management, SBM has a cash surplus of 556 MDH .
