Brent futures rose $1.74, or 2.64%, to $67.59 per barrel at 11:30am EDT (15:30 GMT), and US West Texas Intermediate crude was at $64.27 per barrel, up $1.80 or 2.88%. Both benchmarks closed up 2% on Wednesday, the highest level since April 3, and are on track for their first weekly rise in three weeks. Thursday is the last settlement day of the week before Easter vacation and trade volumes are expected to be low.
