La capitalisation boursière du marché obligataires est passée from 10 433.930 billion FCFA the day before to 10 533.706 billion FCFA on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. This increase results from the first listing of the TPNE 6.60% 2025-2030 and TPNE 6.90% 2025-2032 bonds admitted to the BRVM bond compartment. In reality, the State of Niger, through the General Directorate of Treasury and Public Accountancy (DGTCP), had issued these two bond loans in order to ensure the settlement of outstanding payments noted on the regional financial market and the financing of investments included in its budget for the year 2024. At the end of the operation, 8,504,218 TPNE 6.60% 2025-2030 bonds and 1,007,980 TPNE 6.90% 2025-2032 bonds were subscribed on the UEMOA financial market for an amount of 95,121,980,000 FCFA.
The market capitalization of the equity market increased by 165.484 billion FCFA, reaching 10,724.465 billion FCFA against 10,558.981 billion FCFA on Friday 18 April 2025. This rise is the result of the indexes that went green after their plunge the day before
.Indeed, the BRVM Composite index gained 1.57% to 285.94 points against 281.52 points the day before. As for the BRVM 30 index, it also recorded an increase of 1.73% to 143.74 points against 141.29 points previously. For its part, the BRVM Prestige index rose by 1.51% to 121.33 points against 119.52 points
the day before.The total value of transactions is also up sharply. It stood at 2.933 billion FCFA against 426.963 million FCFA on Friday, April
18, 2025.The Top 5 of the largest price increases are respectively occupied by Unilever Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.48% at 9,560 FCFA), followed respectively by Palm Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.05% at 6,150 FCFA), Air Liquide Côte d'Ivoire (plus 6.45% at 495 FCFA), Orange Côte d'Ivoire (plus 6.01% at 14 900 FCFA) and SOGB C& ocirc; and Ivory (plus 35.6% at 5,250 FCFA
).As for the Flop 5 of the largest price drops, it is occupied respectively by Tractafric Motors Côte d'Ivoire (minus 5.96% at 1,815 FCFA), Servair Abidjan Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.65% at 1,715 FCFA), Total Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.78% at 3,500 FCFA), Servair Abidjan Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.65% at 1,715 FCFA), Servair Abidjan Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.65% at 1,715 FCFA), Burkina Faso (minus 2.50% to 3 895 FCFA) and BOA Mali (minus 1.68% to 2 640 FCFA).
