The flagship indices of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) experienced positive and disparate developments at the end of the trading session on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, contrary to the previous day marked by a general decline.

The BRVM Composite index rose sharply by 1.00% to 290.62 points against 287.75 points the day before. As for the BRVM 30 index, it also increased by 1.16% to 146.21 points against 144.54 points previously. For its part, the BRVM Prestige index rose by 0.59% to 121.60 points against 120.89 points the day before.

The total value of transactions recovered significantly, from 483.411 million FCFA the day before to 1,795 billion FCFA on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.


For its part, the capitalization of the equity market increased by 110.442 billion FCFA, to 11,206.760 billion FCFA against 11,096.318 billion FCFA on Monday, May 5, 2025. That of the bond market is also up by 6.698 billion, from 10 496.647 billion FCFA the day before to 10 503.345 billion FCFA this Tuesday, May 6, 2025.

The Top 5 of the largest price increases are occupied respectively by Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.29% at 515 FCFA), ETI Togo (plus 6.67% at 16 FCFA), Africa Global Logistics Côte d'Ivoire (plus 6.23% at 1,450 FCFA), BOA Burkina Faso (plus 3.85% at 3,375 FCFA) and SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (plus 3.45% at 600 FCFA).

As for the Flop 5 of the largest price falls, it is occupied respectively by Total Côte d'Ivoire shares (minus 7.41% to 2,810 FCFA), SAFCA Côte d'Ivoire (minus 6.62% to 635 FCFA), NEI CEDA Côte d'Ivoire (minus 5.98% to FCFA) (minus 5.98% to FCFA 550), CFAO Côte d'Ivoire (minus 5.78% to FCFA 550) and SICOR Côte d'Ivoire (minus 5.78% to 3 FCFA) 100 FCFA
