The Regional Stock Exchange for Securities (BRVM) recorded more than 3 billion FCFA in transactions at the end of the trading session on Thursday, May 8, 2025.

The total value of these transactions was in fact 3.399 billion CFA compared to 752.494 million FCFA the day before. At the origin of these strong transactions, there is a traded value of 3.389 billion FCFA recorded at the level of the equity compartment. In particular, transactions involving 665,833 Filtisac Côte d'Ivoire shares for a total value of 2,306,946,345 FCFA were noted

As for the capitalization of the equity market, it recorded an increase of 49.198 billion FCFA, standing at 11,281.008 billion FCFA against 11,231.810 billion FCFA on Wednesday, May 7, 2025.

That of the bond market is up by 11 million, from 10 491.813 billion FCFA the day before to 10 503.345 billion FCFA on Thursday, May 8, 2025.

The BRVM Composite Index rose by 0.44% to 292.54 points against 291.26 points the day before. As for the BRVM 30 index, it also increased by 0.50% to 147.02 points against 146.29 points previously. For its part, the BRVM Prestige index fell by 0.53% to 120.63 points against 121.27 points

The Top 5 of the largest price increases are occupied respectively by Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.48% at 575 FCFA), SITAB Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.47% at 10,215 FCFA), Filtisac Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.47% at 10,215 FCFA), Sicor Côte d'Ivoire (plus 6.77% at 3 465 FCFA) 310 FCFA) and Tractafric Motors Côte d'Ivoire (plus 6.51% to 2,290 FCFA).

As for the Flop 5 of the largest price drops, it is occupied respectively by SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.50% at 555 FCFA), Total Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.50% at 2,405 FCFA), Total Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.50% at 2,405 FCFA), Nestlé Côte d'Ivoire (minus 4.81% at 9,500 FCFA), NEI CEDA Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.50% at FCFA 555), Total Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.50% at 2,405 FCFA) 45% to 560 FCFA) and Bernabé Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.00% to 970 FCFA) ).
