At the end of the trading session on Friday, May 9, 2025, the market capitalization of the bond market of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) recorded an increase of 93.72 billion CFA francs.

This capitalization has in fact increased from 10 503.345 billion FCFA the day before to 10 597.065 billion FCFA on May 9, 2025. This increase follows the first listing of Government of Mali bonds 6.55% 2025-2032 and State of Mali 6.35% 2025-2030 bonds admitted to the BRVM

In order to mobilize resources in order to ensure the financing of certain investments provided for in the 2025 budget, the State of Mali, through its Public Treasury, issued these two bonds on the regional financial market. The distribution of these titles to the public took place from 10 to 21 March 2025 at the price of 10,000 FCFA per bond

At the end of the transaction, 6,890,000 Government of Mali bonds 6.55% 2025-2032 and 3,210,000 Mali State bonds 6.35% 2025-2030 had been subscribed on the UEMOA financial market for an amount of 101 billion CFA francs.

As for the capitalization of the equity market, it recorded an increase of 95.499 billion FCFA, reaching 11,376.507 billion FCFA against 11,281.008 billion FCFA on Thursday, May 8, 2025.

The total value of these transactions fell to 1.584 billion FCFA against 3.399 billion FCFA the day before.

The three main market indices are all in green. The largest increase was that of the BRVM Composite index with 0.85% to 295.02 points against 292.54 points the day before. As for the BRVM 30 index, it also increased by 0.75% to 148.13 points against 147.02 points previously. For its part, the BRVM Prestige index gained 0.65% to 121.41 points against 120.63 points
