The financing will support product development, customer expansion, and regional growth in business and SME markets in Africa. PaidHR was founded in 2020 by Seye Bandele and Lekan Omotosho. It offers a comprehensive platform covering payroll, HRIS, compliance, performance monitoring and access to earned salary. Its cross-border payroll engine supports 49 currencies, allowing businesses to pay employees locally while navigating complex HR operations across jurisdictions. This funding round follows an unannounced $600,000 fundraiser in 2023, as well as a $500,000 pre-seed round in 2022.
