On Monday, July 14, 2025, the Banque du Liban (BDL) announced that it had signed a cooperation agreement with K2 Integrity to strengthen measures to get out of the FATF gray list.

According to a press release, this approach is part of BDL's efforts to “fight against the expansion of the informal economy and counter all forms of illegal and fraudulent activities”.
