On Saturday, August 2, 2025, the “Talon Emergence Day” was held in Abidjan, a ceremony dedicated to the major achievements of the Beninese Head of State, Patrice Talon, since 2016.

Talon Emergence Day was celebrated around a triple ambition. It is about celebrating achievements, consolidating collective memory and inspiring the future. On the occasion, the President of the Economic and Social Council (CES) Mr. Conrad Gbaguidi, sponsor of the event, also received the Institutional Innovation Award for the dynamism impressed upon the CES since his arrival at the head of the institution. This honorary distinction highlights in particular the dynamism of departmental coordination, the openness of the institution to local social concerns, and the new doctrine of intervention of the CES in the service of participatory development
