The Biashara Afrika Forum is scheduled to take place in Lomé from 20 to 22 October next year. It is an important continental economic event.

The Biashara Afrika Forum aims to promote the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). Organized by the African Union, this flagship project of African integration aims to create a single market for goods and services on the continent, by facilitating trade and by gradually removing tariff and non-tariff barriers

According to the organizers, this forum is intended to be a platform for dialogue between the public and private sectors, bringing together business leaders, policy makers, policy makers, investors, investors, financial institutions and innovators. Its objective is to connect economic actors to shape the future of African trade and maximize the opportunities offered by the AfCFTA

Panels, B2B meetings, exhibitions and thematic sessions are planned. Issues related to competitiveness, regional value chains, trade finance, and industrial transformation will be addressed.
