As part of its fuel distribution program, which is expected to officially begin on 15 August, Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals has received 4,000 trucks running on compressed natural gas.

Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals announced in a statement on Sunday that the fuel distribution project aims to transform Nigeria's fuel distribution system by reducing logistics costs and improving supply efficiency.

The fleet, imported via the port of Apapa, represents a capital investment estimated at 720 billion naira.
