A high-level strategic workshop was held from 10 to 14 August 2025 in Yamoussoukro. This workshop is dedicated to optimizing the “Expenses” component of its digital platform TrésorPay—TrésorMoney

The workshop was organized by the Platform Generalization and Management Unit (CEGES/TPTM) with the support of the Project to Improve Governance for the Delivery of Basic Services (PAGDS). It is part of the government's desire to continuously modernise the management of public finances. It intervenes in a context where the digital economy is becoming an essential driver of performance, transparency and inclusion in West Africa. TrésorPay—TrésorMoney is created to modernize public payments and aims to offer more inclusive, secure and traceable transactions. The workshop brought together experts from the Treasury, technical partners, and field users in order to review the operational challenges associated with the electronic payment of public expenditure.

The work led to several major results. In particular, the definition of a clear roadmap to optimize the technical functionalities of the “Expenditure” component; the development of a reinforced plan for the protection and security of sensitive data; the formulation of recommendations to make the best use of statistical data, in order to improve budgetary management and guide decision-making
