The Argentine media DataClave has published compromising audio recordings that reveal an alleged system of bribes within the National Disability Agency (Andis).

In the recordings, the voice attributed to Diego Spagnuolo, former director of Andis and a personal friend of the president, describes a corruption mechanism that would involve the highest echelons of power.

Following publication by local media, Milei fired Diego Spagnuolo, director of the Argentine agency for the disabled ANDIS. The leaked audio messages refer to bribes within his organization, which he associates with the president's sister, Karina Milei. On Friday, judicial authorities confiscated two telephones from Spagnuolo's home, as well as a cash counting machine, according to the newspaper La Nación. In total, a judge ordered 15 searches to obtain more evidence.
