The Directorate of Forecasting and Economic Studies stresses in its latest publication "Monthly economic update - November 2020" that Senegal's exports to the WAEMU zone stood at 36.9 billion in November 2020 against 26.4 billion a month earlier, an increase of 10.5 billion (+39.9%).

The WAEMU's share of Senegal's total exports stood at 22.6% in November 2020, i.e. a surplus of 3.5 percentage points, in monthly variation. Also, notes this directorate of the Ministry of Economy, Planning and Cooperation of Senegal, the weight of Senegal's exports to Mali in total EU exports improved by 4.5 percentage points to 68.8% in November 2020.

Cement remains the main product exported to this partner country with an estimated share of 22.0% against 26.6% in October 2020.
