Bank Of Africa (BOA) Burkina Faso, a subsidiary of the Moroccan banking group BMCE Bank, and listed on the BRVM saw its profit fall by a few million FCFA. Compared to the previous year, this decrease is 903.448 million FCFA.

BOA Burkina's after-tax profit decreased by CFAF 903.448 million at the end of the 2020 financial year compared to the previous year. It stood at 17.607 billion CFA francs against 18.511 billion CFA francs, a decrease of 4.88%.
The total balance sheet of this banking institution based in Ouagadougou is up 13.94% to 988.180 billion FCFA against 867.213 billion FCFA in 2019.

The resources collected by the bank from its customers amounted to 761.160 billion FCFA against 624.663 billion FCFA in 2019, an evolution of 136.497 billion FCFA. While the loans granted to this same clientele increased by 26.551 billion, standing at 554.270 billion FCFA against 527.719 billion FCFA in 2019.
As for the bank's interest and similar income, they increased from CFAF 48.895 billion at 31 December 2019 to CFAF 53.391 billion at 31 December 2020 (+9.19%).

Also, BOA Burkina Faso's net banking income recorded an increase of 10.85%, from CFAF 42.707 billion at 31 December 2019 to CFAF 47.367 billion during the period under review.
