The Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM), organizes the celebration of excellence on the WAEMU Regional Financial Market (MFR). The BRVM Awards, which will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 in Abidjan.
 
Placed under the banner of sustainable finance, the BRVM Awards aim to bring together all the players in the regional market, to highlight the stock market dynamism of the sub-region, to increase the visibility of the MFR, and to promote excellence and good practices. This new pan-African economic indicator instituted in 2020 is a ceremony of distinction aimed at recognizing the most dynamic companies in the sub-region. In 2020, 7 companies were awarded this award of excellence. This year, 8 categories were selected to decide between the actors of the MFR according to quantitative and qualitative selection criteria. These are the Best Listed Company Award, the Best Management and Intermediation Company Award, the Best UCITS Management Company Award, the Best BTCC Award, the Best Institutional Investor Award, the best SME award in the ELITE Programme, the Best Bond Issuer award and the Best Financial Media award.

The nominated entities will be decided by a renowned jury composed of: Mr Charles KIE, President of the Jury, Mrs Viviane BAKAYOKO, Mr Didier ACOUETEY, Mrs Nabou FALL and Mrs Khady CISS. In addition, this year, two special prizes and an honorary prize will be awarded. The BRVM Awards will be held in the form of a face-to-face and virtual mix. Led by Dr. Edoh Kossi Amenounvé, the BRVM recorded in 2020, 246 billion FCFA in transaction value against 136 billion FCFA in 2019, an increase of 80%. In total, 46 listed companies, for a market capitalization of 4,367 billion FCFA.
