The Directorate of Financial Control made its traditional solemn start, this Wednesday, April 7, 2021 in Abidjan, around the theme " review of budget management 2020 and perspective 2021, as part of the operationalization of the budgetary reform". 

It appears that the strategic plan of the Directorate of Financial Control has been achieved at 96.7%, with actions ranging from the coverage of the national territory in terms of control, the process of modernization and digitalization of the administration, to the budgetary reform.
" This meeting obeys an obligation of accountability, transparency and necessary prior planning, to improve our actions and perfect our works ," says N'da Ange, Director of Financial Control.
He added that " helping the State to ensure transparency in budget management, protecting it against different forms of loss, assisting managers and improving their efficiency is exhilarating and rewarding. For 2021, the nation expects you (the financial controllers) to have the same level of commitment ."
For the Ministry of the Budget and the State Portfolio, this solemn re-entry is of interest. With the budgetary reform, financial control is now at the heart of internal control and performance action. A performance that must also be based on good governance and the fight against corruption.
" In the new government, a ministerial department has been dedicated to good governance, capacity building and the fight against corruption. It is the materialisation of a vision and a political will; the fight against corruption will be extended. And entrusting it to an important magistrate of the system is an indicator ," says Soilio Grambouté, Chief of Staff and representative of the Minister of Budget and State Portfolio.
For the previous financial year, all the structures benefiting from the State's budgetary resources are also at the time of the assessment and are preparing to present, each, an annual performance report to the Court of Auditors and the National Assembly for an evaluation of the level of implementation of the objectives to be assigned to them at the beginning of the year.
