Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI), the parent company of the Ecobank Group, held its 33rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) and its Extraordinary General Meeting online on 27 May 2021.

The shareholders of the first pan-African bank, present in 34 countries, have approved, including the renewal of the terms of office of Mr. Alain Nkontchou, Mr. Brian Kennedy and Mr. David O'Sullivan for a period of three years. They also ratified the co-optation of Mr. Hervé Assah, as a director, for a three-year term ending on the third anniversary of his co-optation as a director.

ETI's annual profit was USD 201 million, compared to USD 184 million in 2019. The Group's net banking income increased by 4% to USD 1,680 million. Thanks to our multiple distribution channels and substantial investments in technology, we have been able to ensure seamless service continuity.
