180-degree steering for the Finnish refiner who, in ten years, has established itself as the world's leading producer of renewable diesel. In 2011, the oil company Neste Oil was singled out by the NGO Public Eye, which had awarded it the award for the worst company in social and environmental terms. Ten years later, the company, which has removed the word "oil" from its logo, ranks, according to the financial magazine Corporate Knights, as the 4th most "sustainable" company. From waste and vegetable oils, the Finnish group produces a green diesel used for air and road transport. The firm also develops processes to transform plastic waste for reuse by the chemical industry.
