The UMOA-Titres agency has made public the provisional schedule for the issuance of public securities by States for the third quarter of 2021. According to forecasts, UEMOA member States want 1,075 billion FCFA on the financial market over the period. .

The countries of the Union will be on the regional financial market for assimilable Treasury bills (BAT) and assimilable Treasury bonds (OAT). Thus, according to the provisional quarterly program, the projected volume of issues amounts to 1,075 billion FCFA, at the rate of 380 billion treasury bills and 695 billion treasury bonds. The estimated overall volume of public securities that the member countries of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) plan to issue by auction during the third quarter of 2021 amounts to 1075 billion FCFA (1.612 billion euros), announced the officials of the Agence UMOA-Titres based in Dakar. The calendar indicates that it is the seven (7) Member States of the Union which are Benin, Burkina, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Niger and Togo which are requesting funding for the third quarter of 2021 on the market. In a note addressed to investors operating on the financial market of the West African Monetary Union (UMOA), Adrien Diouf Director of the Agence UMOA-Titres informs all the actors of the Public Securities Market of the States of the UMOA on the rates which are fixed on the amounts to be mobilized by the member countries.
