Emmy Awards: "The Lady's Game" and "The Crown" awarded

"The Lady's Game", a Netflix production that features a tormented young chess prodigy, won the Emmy Award for Best Miniseries. This worldwide success, which exploded registrations in chess clubs after its broadcast, faced the Marvel series "WandaVision" and "Mare of Easttown" with Kate Winslet. "The Crown," another Netflix series that romanticizes the life of the British royal family, triumphed Sunday night at the Emmy Awards by winning the award for best drama series. The series also won the Emmys for Best Actor and Best Actress. Since its launch in 2007, the video-on-demand platform has collected nominations but had never before won an Emmy Award, the equivalent of the Oscars of American television, in the most prestigious categories (drama series, comedy or limited series).
