As part of public securities issues on WAEMU, the State of Côte d'Ivoire mobilized at the end of August 2021, 1,853.8 billion (i.e. 1,854 billion CFA francs) for an issued amount of 1,602.6 billion of FCFA.

Presenting the results of this operation, the Directorate General of the Ivorian Treasury notes issues of public securities, at the end of August 2021, of 1,853.8 billion for an issued amount of 1,602.6 billion FCFA. Regarding Treasury bills and bonds, out of an annual target of 5,036,805,000 FCFA in 2021, approximately 4,880,664,045 FCFA have already been recorded over the past eight months, i.e. an achievement rate of 96.90 %, well above the partial target of 67%. With regard to non-tax revenue, out of a target of 33.172 billion, 48.928 billion FCFA were collected. In addition, as of August 31, 2021, the Process Action Plan recorded an achievement rate of 92.31% compared to 86.6% in the first half of 2020. The public securities market in the Western Economic and Monetary Union zone -African (UEMOA) is the only regional market by auction dedicated exclusively to the mobilization of financing from the Member States.
