On the occasion of the work of the Inter-African Conference on Insurance Markets (Cima), experts from the continent have been looking into the subject and many others since yesterday in Yaoundé.

Gathered under the chairmanship of Antoni Mendoua, Director of Insurance at the Ministry of Finance (Minfi), who is also the personal representative of Minfi, and the Secretary General of Cima, Blaise Abel Ezo'o Engolo, the committee of Cima experts exchanges around of the theme: Commit to digitalization or "perish". With regard to digitalization, this project is part of the updating of insurance regulations in Africa. As such, the 2022 program intends to integrate the connection to the digital revolution through digitalization. For Blaise Abel Ezo'o Engolo, this is a necessity. In addition to the above-mentioned subject, the Cima experts will look into the budget of this organization for the year 2022, but also on the examination of the projects to be carried out next January. The issue of rapid claims settlement is also at the heart of Yaoundé's work. It's about doing everything possible to charge for services on time.
