While the capitalization of bonds and shares of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) recorded a significant increase, the total value of transactions fell at the end of the trading session of this Wednesday, January 19, 2022.

The market capitalization of the BRVM bond market increased by 16.433 billion FCFA. This capitalization stood at 7297.922 billion FCFA against 7281.922 billion the day before. That of shares stands at 6104.045 billion FCFA against 6103.908 billion FCFA the day before, an increase of 137 million FCFA. The total value of transactions amounted to 283.154 million FCFA against 738.273 million the day before.

The BRVM 10 index fell by 0.39% to 155.81 points against 156.16 points the day before. That of the composite BRVM, on the other hand, is in a stationary situation at 202.7 points. The Top 5 of the highest price increases are respectively occupied by the shares BOA Mali, Setao Côte d'Ivoire, Sicable Côte d'Ivoire, Air Liquide Côte d'Ivoire, NEI CEDA Côte d'Ivoire. Flop 5 of the biggest price drops is respectively occupied by the shares SAFCA Côte d'Ivoire, Sicor Côte d'Ivoire, ETI Togo, Servair Abidjan and Sucrivoire Côte d'Ivoire.
