The State of Côte d'Ivoire raised this Tuesday, February 15, 2022 the sum of 30 billion FCFA on the WAEMU financial market after its issuance by auction of assimilable treasury bonds (BAT) with a duration of 3 months.

This fundraising will make it possible to cover the financing needs of its budget. According to UMOA-Titres, the Ivorian Public Treasury had auctioned 30 billion FCFA. The total amount of bids stood at 76.300 billion FCFA. This gives a rate of coverage of the amount auctioned of 254.33%. After adjudication, the selected bids amount to 30 billion FCFA and those rejected to the remaining 46.300 billion FCFA. This gives an absorption rate of 39.32%. Investors whose submissions have been successful will end up with a weighted average return of 2.26%.
