The Public Treasury of Burkina Faso carried out on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 on the WAEMU financial market an operation of assimilable treasury bills (BAT) with a duration of 182 days. This operation enabled him to raise the sum of 33 billion FCFA after auction.

The total amount auctioned was 30 billion FCFA. UMOA-Titres officials have listed 50.850 billion FCFA in global bids from investors. This gives a rate of coverage of the amount auctioned of 169.50%. At the end of the auction operation, the selected bids amounted to 33 billion FCFA and those rejected to the remaining 17.850 billion FCFA. This gives an absorption rate of 64.90%. Investors whose bids are successful will end up with a weighted average return of 3.14%.
