The Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) started the week with strong transactions at the end of the trading session on Monday, February 21, 2022.

After recording transactions of 7.679 billion FCFA on February 14, 2022, the total value of transactions stood at 6.901 billion FCFA on Monday, February 21, 2022. Before the periods of February 14 and 21, 2022, the market was struggling to exceed 3.500 billion FCFA in transactions, the last largest transactions dating back to February 10 with 3.406 billion FCFA. The market capitalization of the equity market fell from 14.165 billion FCFA to 6381.597 billion FCFA against 6395.762 billion FCFA the day before. That of the bond market is also down by 2.86 billion to 7497.594 billion FCFA against 7500.454 billion FCFA previously. The BRVM composite index fell by 0.22% to 212.00 points against 212.47 points the day before. As for the BRVM 10 index, it also recorded a drop of 0.03% to 158.92 points against 158.96 points previously.
