The West African Development Bank (BOAD) wants to double its equity to invest in five priority sectors. The announcement was made when its president Serge Ekué was received in audience on Tuesday March 1 by Alassane Ouattara at the Ivorian presidential palace.

Infrastructure, energy, agriculture, health and education are the sectors in which BOAD intends to invest. But to achieve this, the bank must double its capital to have more investment volume. The interventions of the banks and the situation of the Uemoa zone were also discussed during his audience with President Alassane Ouattara.
