The International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Friedrich-Ebert Foundation (Fes) organized from 5 to 6 May 2022 an African regional conference on decent work, social and solidarity economy. This meeting is part of the 110th international meeting of the ILO, which will take place from 27 May to 11 June in Geneva.

This seminar aims to better prepare African experts in the labor sector for the major international meeting. An opportunity for these African experts and delegates to reflect on a better realization of the great potential of the social and solidarity economy in Africa.

Participants from North East Africa, West Central Africa exchanged views on the potential of their continent, and discussed the activities of institutionalized economic actors who work for cultural and ecological social goals.
