At the end of its issuance of assimilable treasury bonds (BAT) of maturity 91 days, the State of Guinea-Bissau raised on April 10, 2022 on the financial market of the West African Monetary Union (WAMU) an amount of 10 billion FCFA (15 million euros).

The fundraising aims to mobilize the savings of natural and legal persons in order to cover the financing needs of the Budget of the State of Guinea-Bissau. The Public Treasury of Guinea-Bissau had put out to tender a total amount of 10 billion CFA francs.

The amount of successful bids is 10 billion FCFA and the amount rejected at zero FCFA. This gives an absorption rate of 100%. Investors whose bids are selected will end up with a return of 3.21%. The BAT issued are refundable on the first working day following the due date of August 9, 2022.
