Coris Bank has signed a trade finance line of 500 million euros with Afreximbank. It was on the sidelines of the General Assemblies of Afreximbank held in Cairo (Egypt) from 15 to 18 June 2022.

The agreement of the trade finance line was signed on June 16, 2022 by Dr. Bénédict Oromah, President of Afreximbank Group and Idrissa Nassa, President of Coris Bank International. Through this partnership, Coris Bank International will finance the supply of essential goods and consumer products for the benefit of the populations of the 9 countries where it operates. Beyond the financing of intra-African trade, this agreement corresponding to significant foreign currency inflows is good news for the WAEMU zone, which is thus recording significant foreign currency inflows.
