EcobankPay is a payment solution that makes life easier for many merchants and buyers across Africa. The Zone 2022 campaign was launched by the Director of the Commercial Bank Department, Michel Gafan in the presence of the Managing Director of Ecobank Togo, Souleymane Touré and Eusébe Afoutou, Ecobank Togo Legal Director.

The pan-African bank Ecobank has officially launched "EcobankPay", the digital payment solution via cell phone. This campaign aims to further popularize the product by making known the proportionalities and especially its advantages during this period of Covid-19. From now on, a customer can pay via EcobankPay in supermarkets, gas station stores, markets, pharmacies, as well as with street vendors.

Among these innovative solutions, EcobankPay payments via cell phone (smart phone or not) are made by scanning the merchant's barcode commonly known as QR code or by USSD code (*326#). EcobankPay can be used in all 33 countries where Ecobank operates.
