On Wednesday, August 3, 2022, the State of Burkina Faso raised 35,813 billion CFA francs in the WAEMU financial market. Indeed, this sum was announced during a simultaneous issuance of 3 to 4-year Treasury Recovery Bonds (ORD). Thus, on August 4, 2025, bonds will be repaid for those with a three-year bond and on August 4, 2029 for those who are seven years old. Interest will be paid at the end of the first year with a fixed interest rate of 5.55% for three-year bonds and 6.10% for seven-year bonds.
