Since December 2017, Nigeria's stock index has fallen by 2.26%. According to data from Refinitiv, this fall is due to the decline of the heavyweight truck Dangote Cement. Thus, there was a loss of 1,138.67 points on the main index to reach 49,351.06 points. Dangote Cement has therefore fallen by 9.0%, which is lowering the stock market. It should be noted that Dangote Cement is the largest Nigerian company listed on the stock exchange.
