An information note on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 mentions that with the intention of raising an amount of 150 billion FCFA on the financial market of the Western Economic and Monetary Union- African (UEMOA), the State of Burkina Faso has launched a bond called 'TPBF 6.30% 2022-2034'.

The information note indicates that the purpose of this issue is to finance investments included in the state budget for the year 2022. In addition, this operation consists of transmitting 15 million bonds with a nominal value of 10,000 FCFA each. According to the note, August 16 to 26, 2022 is the subscription period for this bond with the possibility of early closing.
