The National Bank of Algeria (BNA) intends to open a subsidiary in Senegal before the end of the current year. The latter will be a general bank aimed at supporting and helping Algerian operators to access African markets

The new subsidiary will be a general bank aimed at helping and supporting Algerian operators to access African markets. According to the managing director of the National Bank of Algeria, Mohamed Lamine Lebbou, this operation is part of the strategy for deploying the BNA internationally, whose first launch will take place in Africa. The volume of agreements and partnerships signed with African countries is increasing in an unprecedented way, which requires strong support from banking institutions in order to support investments and to lay solid foundations in terms of exports and trade.
