Oragroup Holding of the Orabank Group and Orabank Senegal carried out a fundraising operation in favour of SAGA AFRICA HOLDINGS LIMITED SA, operator global mobile telephony, operating the Free brand in Senegal. This is a syndicated medium-term loan of 25 billion CFA francs.

Through a press release, the group informs that this transaction was carried out in collaboration with a banking pool also made up of the CBAO Group Attijariwafa bank, International Bank for Trade and Industry of Senegal (BICIS) and Société Générale Senegal (SGS). The document indicates that this loan will allow FREE to refinance its debt and to carry out its ambitious investment program, whose main axes are the continued modernization of the 4G+ network and the deployment of very high-speed fixed internet (Fttx/Ftth) to customers homes and businesses, and the increase of its presence in the Mobile Money business where FREE MONEY has significant room for growth.
