Executives from banks and financial institutions met in Lomé last week as part of the Ministry of Commerce seminar on the popularization of UEMOA Industrial Restructuring and Upgrading Programme (PRMN) in Togo.

The meeting was organized by BRMN-Togo (Restructuring and Upgrading Office), with the support of BRMN-Benin and the Togolese branch of the UEMOA Commission. The PRMN aims to relaunch industrial production, promote investment, employment and improve the competitiveness of industries at the regional and international levels.

The program also aims to strengthen the capacities of business development support services, particularly banks and financial institutions. These are important in the life and growth of businesses. Thus, the seminar aims not only to introduce banks and financial institutions to the PRMN, but also to instruct them on the importance of their role in supporting companies engaged in the restructuring and upgrading process for a better level of competitiveness& of the latter.
