An economic update from Gabon's General Directorate of Economy and Fiscal Policy (DGEPF) announces that by March 31, 2022, oil exports increased from 389.1 billion FCFA to 953.5 billion.

A year-on-year increase in oil exploitation in Gabon is 145%. This increase is attributed to the increase in the price of a barrel of Gabonese oil (+60.1% to 98 US dollars at the end of March 2022). This, with billions of barrels in 2021 and in an international context marked by the war in Ukraine.
