Two days before a face-to-face meeting of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and Their Allies (Opep+), oil prices jumped by around 5% at the first meeting Monday in the month of October. This situation leaves us waiting for a more drastic reduction in production. Around 12:30 GMT (14:30 CET), the American WTI rose by 5.03%, to 83.48 dollars per barrel, while its European counterpart rose from 4.47% to 88.95 dollars per barrel.
