Over the period from 22 to 28 September 2022, Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM) came up on five key points: first, the average daily trading volume was established at 4.4 MMDH on the interbank market and the interbank rate averaged 1.6% during this period. Secondly, no auction was carried out on the foreign exchange market. Also, the Dirham appreciated by 0.21% against the euro and depreciated by 3.42% against the US dollar. Similarly, the total outstanding amount of BAM's interventions amounts to MMDH 103.1 MMDH, including 39.1 MMDH in the form of 7-day advances on tender, 39.8 MMDH in outstanding long-term pensions, 24.2 MMDH in long-term guaranteed loans and 150 million dirhams (MDH) in advances & staple; 24 hours. Finally, official reserve assets stood at 336.9 billion dirhams (MMDH), down 1.2% from week to week and up 5.9% year-on-year.
