A quarterly dividend of $0.52 has been approved by common share. It represents an increase of 11% compared to the previous quarter's dividend. This dividend will be payable on December 23, 2022 to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 2, 2022.

Achieving improvements in the flow of available funds, sustained capital discipline and share repurchases, and continued operational improvements across the asset base have contributed to higher cash flow per share, in fact, in a return of #39; improved operations in a sustainable manner and the strengthening of the financial position, the confidence of the board of directors supports the increase in the quarterly dividend as part of the commitment to increase returns for shareholders.

In reality, Suncor's business is linked to offshore oil and gas production, oil sands development and upgrading, petroleum refining in Canada and the United States, and to its corporate Petro-Canada retail and wholesale distribution network, including the Trans-Canada Electric Highway, a network of fast charging stations for EVs from coast to coast. It is advancing the transition to a low-carbon future and developing petroleum resources through investments in electricity, renewable fuels, and hydrogen.
