In a press release, the management indicates that the tax notices for the year 2020 have been assessed and distributed. The same press release sets the payment deadline at 31 December 2020.
The press release is particularly oriented towards the citizens of the city of Cotonou. Nicolas Yénoussi, Director General of Taxes calls in the high sense of the people of Cotonou for an exemplary fiscal citizenship. An increase of 10% will be applied in the event of non-compliance with the deadline, according to the provisions of Article 966 paragraph 6 of the new General Tax Code.
