The magazine “LE Prevoyant-Spécial Février2025” of the Association of Insurance Companies of Côte d'Ivoire revealed that the turnover of all branches of the insurance sector in Côte d'Ivoire achieved a growth of 6% to 628.042 billion in 2024 against 594.342 billion in 2023

Over the past five years, the Ivorian insurance market has recorded an average growth of 10%, in line with the dynamics of the Ivorian economy. Non-Life insurance with a turnover of 321.329 billion CFA francs in 2024 is up by 5% compared to the 2023 financial year. This increase is mainly driven by car insurance, thanks to efforts to clean up and modernise the sector.

Life insurance achieved a turnover of 266.720 billion CFA francs in 2024 against 251.826 billion CFA francs in 2023, an increase of 6%. This increase is driven by the rise of periodic savings contracts and mixed contracts.
